Description

Emzolyn Syrup is used for Relief of runny nose, Sneezing, Itchy, Watery eyes, Itchy nose, Itchy throat due to hay fever or allergy, Pain in shoulder joint, Pain in arthritis, Relief of runny nose and sneezing due to common cold allergy, Patients with metabolic alkalosis, Patients with hypochloremic states, Acidity, Gastric problems, Kidney stones, Pain in tendons and other conditions. Emzolyn Syrup may also be used for purposes not listed in this medication guide.
Emzolyn Syrup contains Ammonium Chloride, Diphenhydramine, Menthol and Sodium Citrate as active ingredients.
Emzolyn Syrup works by blocking the action of histamine; increasing the excretion of extracellular electrolytes and water out of the body; regulating the intake of sodium and potassium; temporarily relieving minor pain;
